MELBOURNE, Fla., June 19, 2019 — Through a joint venture, Willow Street Capital, Opterra Capital, The Charre Group and Duke Hospitality and their capital partner, The LCP Group, announced they have broken ground on the new Hotel Melby Downtown Melbourne, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Melbourne, Florida. Anticipated to open in late 2020, the new build property will bring casual sophistication to the heart of Florida’s Space Coast, minutes from the Orlando Melbourne International Airport.

“We are thrilled to see this project begin construction on this landmark hotel, made possible by outstanding partnerships with The LCP Group, Centennial Bank, the City of Melbourne and the downtown Melbourne community,” said Miguel Rivera, principal of Willow Street Capital, the group leading the development. “This hotel’s incredible building and beautiful design will allow us to provide our hotel and rooftop guests a relaxing, fun and memorable experience as we surround them with world-class hospitality.”
